Consulting

PilotBooks also provides a consultancy service for those fixed or rotary wing organisations who wish to obtain
  • a General Aviation Air Operator Certificate under Part 119 for operations to be conducted under Part 135;
  • an Aviation Training Certificate under Part 141 of the CAA Rules;
  • Maintenance Programme documentation for aircraft operated under non-Air Operation rules.
Generally, consultancy will involve prospective clients completing a questionnaire which will describe their organisation and enable Pilotbooks to provide a first draft of the exposition (manual). Subsequent drafts will be developed based on client's requirements. After the final draft has been accepted by the client a copy will be provided for CAA perusal. For Part 135 and Part 141 operations the Entry Inspection date for certification under Part 119 will be advised by the CAA. For Maintenance Programme documentation there is no formal CAA Entry Inspection.

The cost of this process will depend on the complexity of the client's operation and the time taken in drafting the manual and obtaining approval. PilotBooks will provide a quote for this service once these factors can be assessed. An ongoing amendment service can also be arranged with payment on an hourly basis.

For Part 135 manuals, contact Walter on 07 548 1654, and for Part 141 manuals contact Stewart on 07 544 1416.
